Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Kane and any digital products, licenses, or access you purchase through the storefront. Please read them before you buy or create an account.
Last updated August 15, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and [Legal Business Name] (“Kane,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operating the website Kane and related storefront services (the “Service”). By accessing the Service, creating an account, adding items to a cart, or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service or complete a purchase. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
Checkout, payment processing, catalog data, and digital delivery are provided in connection with third-party service providers described in these Terms. Additional processor terms may apply when you pay.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter a contract and meet the legal age required to purchase the products offered on the Service in your location. If you are under that age, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms and is responsible for your activity.
We do not knowingly sell products to children who cannot lawfully complete the purchase. We may refuse, suspend, or cancel access or orders if we reasonably believe you do not meet these requirements.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete account, email, billing, and payment information, and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, email address, and devices, including purchases made with saved or shared access to those credentials.
Notify us promptly if you believe your account or delivery email has been compromised. We may require verification before restoring access. We are not obligated to create an account for every visitor; some storefront features may be used as a guest where offered.
Digital products and licenses
Kane sells digital products. Depending on the listing, that may include software access, licenses, keys, download links, credentials, configuration, or other digital delivery configured for the selected variant. Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, you receive a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased product for your own lawful use, not ownership of the software, intellectual property, or underlying service.
You do not acquire title, copyright, or any right to sublicense, resell, rent, lease, share, pool, or publicly distribute the product. We and our licensors reserve all rights not expressly granted. Access may be time-limited according to the variant you buy (for example, a stated duration). When that period ends, the license ends unless you purchase additional access.
Delivery is typically issued after payment is confirmed, usually to the checkout email or through the order/account flow we provide. Delivery contents depend on the variant’s configuration. You are responsible for checking spam folders, using a working email address, and securing anything delivered to you.
Orders, pricing, and availability
A displayed product, price, variant, or stock status is an invitation to order, not a binding offer until we (or our payment processor) accept the order and payment is confirmed. We may correct obvious errors in pricing, descriptions, variants, images, or availability, including after an order is placed, where the error is clear or the listing is not as advertised.
We may refuse, delay, or cancel an order, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe it is fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, made with stolen payment details, placed in violation of these Terms, or the result of a technical, catalog, or pricing mistake. If we cancel a paid order that we cannot fulfill, we will provide a refund, store credit, or other remedy consistent with the Refund Policy and applicable law.
Products, variants, features, system notes, and prices may change. We may update, replace, pause, or discontinue a listing. Changes do not automatically alter an already delivered license except as described in these Terms, the product listing, or where required for security, legality, or operational reasons.
Taxes, currency conversion, and payment-method fees may be charged by processors or your bank. The amount authorized at checkout is the amount you agree to pay unless a later correction is required by law or by an obvious error we are entitled to fix.
Product status
Kane publishes product status so you can see whether a listing is currently offered for purchase. Status is informational and is derived from catalog data such as visibility, stock, and hold state. It can change without notice as listings are updated.
- Operational: the product is publicly listed and, based on available catalog data, purchasable.
- Updating, on hold, or paused: the product may remain visible for information, but purchase can be blocked until it returns to a purchasable state.
- Degraded: the product may be listed but lack in-stock or purchasable variants.
- Offline or unavailable: the product is not purchasable.
Status is not a warranty of uninterrupted availability, future restocks, compatibility, or any particular performance. Check the product page and Status page before you buy and before you use a product. We do not guarantee that any product will remain operational, that updates will occur on a particular schedule, or that paused products will return.
Customer responsibilities
You agree to:
- Follow the setup, delivery, and usage instructions provided with the product, order email, or documentation.
- Confirm that your hardware, software, operating system, game version, and other requirements are compatible before purchase. If requirements are not listed, do not assume support for every configuration.
- Keep licenses, keys, credentials, download links, and delivery messages confidential. Do not share, stream, publish, or sell them.
- Use the product only for your personal, lawful purposes and only for the duration and scope of the license you purchased.
- Maintain accurate contact information so we can deliver orders and communicate about your purchase.
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, transfer, pool, or commercially exploit products or access except where we expressly authorize it in writing.
- Share accounts, credentials, or seats, or allow others to use your license.
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or bypass technical protections, except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Interfere with the Service, scrape it in a way that degrades performance, probe it for vulnerabilities without authorization, or attempt to access other customers’ data.
- Misrepresent payment details, initiate abusive chargebacks, or use the Service for fraud.
Product risks and no outcome guarantees
Software, game-related tools, and other digital products can involve technical, account, and legal risk. You are solely responsible for deciding whether a product is appropriate for your situation and for complying with all laws and third-party terms that apply to you, including game publisher, platform, and software license terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kane does not guarantee that any product will be compatible with your system, remain compatible after game or platform updates, perform in any particular way, remain undetected, avoid penalties, or produce any particular result. Product descriptions, reviews, status badges, and support answers are informational and are not warranties.
Using third-party software with online games or other services may violate those providers’ terms and may result in warnings, suspensions, bans, loss of progress, or other penalties. Kane cannot eliminate that risk and does not promise that use of a product is permitted by any third party. If you are not willing to accept those risks, do not purchase or use the product.
You are responsible for backups, antivirus practices, and the security of your own devices. We are not responsible for hardware damage, data loss, game bans, lost accounts, or lost in-game items arising from your use of a product, except where such limitation is not permitted by law.
Support
Support is available through the channels we publish, which may include the Support page, live chat, and [support@example.com]. Support is provided to help with order delivery, setup questions we can reasonably address, and account issues. It is not a guarantee of product performance, compatibility, or uninterrupted access.
Any stated response times, including typical first-response windows, are targets only and are not a service-level commitment. Volume, incomplete order details, third-party outages, and the nature of the request can affect timing. We may decline to continue support for abuse, harassment, threats, spam, or repeated refusal to follow reasonable troubleshooting steps.
Do not send full payment-card numbers, passwords for unrelated accounts, or copies of government ID unless we specifically request a document for a lawful verification process and explain how it will be used.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, licenses, or access, and may refuse future orders, if we reasonably believe you have engaged in fraud, chargeback abuse, harassment, leaking of product files or credentials, unauthorized resale or sharing, reverse engineering, attacks on the Service, or other material violations of these Terms or applicable law.
Where we terminate for cause, unused time on a license is not automatically refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise or we choose to provide a remedy. We may also suspend access while we investigate a reasonably suspected violation.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including licenses already consumed, payment obligations, IP ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law—will survive termination.
Intellectual property
The Service, including the Kane name, logos, storefront design, copy, graphics, and compiled catalog presentation, is owned by [Legal Business Name] or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Product software and brand assets belonging to third parties remain those parties’ property.
You may not use Kane branding, trademarks, screenshots of non-public materials, or site content for commercial purposes, impersonation, or affiliation claims without our prior written permission. You may not frame the Service or copy substantial parts of listings except for ordinary personal use of pages you visit or as allowed by mandatory law.
Third-party services and links
The Service depends on third parties, including catalog, checkout, and delivery providers; payment processors; hosting; email delivery; analytics providers we enable; and Crisp for live chat. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their processing. We are not responsible for third-party outages, security incidents, or policy changes outside our reasonable control.
Links to other websites, Discord servers, documentation, or tools are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. Your use of those services is at your own risk.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service or any product will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, virus-free, compatible with your environment, or that defects will be corrected. Catalog data, stock, and status may lag or contain errors. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers; in those places, we disclaim warranties only to the fullest extent the law allows, and any implied warranty that cannot be disclaimed is limited to the shortest period permitted.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kane and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost game accounts, lost in-game items, business interruption, or replacement costs, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service or a product will not exceed the amount you paid to Kane for the specific order giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid for the affected order, our total liability will not exceed USD 50 or the minimum amount required by law, whichever is greater.
These limits are a fundamental part of the bargain and apply regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise). They do not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that a court would not permit us to exclude.
Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Kane and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from and against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or a product, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, your violation of a third party’s rights or terms, unauthorized sharing or resale, or a dispute between you and a third party relating to your use of a product, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. For material changes, we may also provide additional notice, such as a site notice or email to the address on your account, where we have it.
The updated Terms apply to use of the Service after they are posted. If you do not agree, stop using the Service. Purchases already completed remain subject to the Terms in effect at the time of purchase, except where a change is required by law or applies to ongoing access we continue to provide.
Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing Law / State or Country], without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s law, except that mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence may still apply if they cannot be waived.
Except where prohibited by applicable consumer law, exclusive venue for disputes that are not resolved informally will be the [Courts of City, State or Country]. You and Kane consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may still seek urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential materials.
If a court of competent jurisdiction finds that a mandatory consumer forum or other non-waivable right applies to you, that finding controls for that claim only.
Severability and entire agreement
If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if it cannot be modified. The remaining provisions will continue in full force.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any additional terms presented at checkout for a specific product, are the entire agreement between you and Kane regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings on that subject. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale of assets.
